CUSTOMS RETURNS. Customs returns for August show that £436,255 7s. Id. was collected in the port of Wellington during tho month, ns compared with £99,925 7s. 2d. for the same period last year. Customs revenue collected at the port of Wellington yesterday totalled £10,422 Is. 6d. By Telegraph-Press Association Auckland, August 31. The record sum of £200.081 was collcctcd in Customs duty at. Auckland during August, compared jyith £98,233 jor the samo month last year.
