The scores were very Door, An' exception was H. E. Crosso (Napier), ivlio scored 78 and 80 in the qualifying rounds. ICapi Tareha (Napier) was second'with 83—81—161; T. Saunders (Wangariui), third,' with S3—So—lGß; and G. Saunders fourth with 89—£0—]6i),
In the Teams' Match (four' in a team), (Variganui won with 313. Manawatu being Kcond with 31!), and Napier third 'with 35G.
In the morning, Medal Competition, H. Collinson (Manawatu), SS —13 —75, was the winner; P. L. Sim (Manawatu), 1)2-16-76, was 6econd; and 11. Preeth (Mana.watu). 57—10—77, was third. There were better scores for the Medal Competition in tho afternoon. The result was:—A'. J. Evans, 91—18—73; W. J. White'(Hastings), 91—15—79; A. Barraud (79 —scr. —79); G. Saunders • (80—scr.—SO).
