NEWCASTLE COAL
AN ORDER FROM ITALY. (Rec. September 1, 0.25 a.m.) London, August 30. Consequent on Signor Ramaciotti submitting an analysis of Newcastle coal, th-e Italian Government has placed an order for an experimental 8000 tons for gas-making. If the -price. is satisfactory it is hoped to establish a regular trade. The Government also undertook to provide ship transport, but it is now understood that the whole transaction has been hold up through Australian industrial troubles—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn,
