INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION CONSTITUTED TO MEET AT GENEVA NEXT YEAR By Telograph-Presa Associatton-Oopyrlffht Geneva, August 29. In conformity with a resolution of the International Labour Conference in Washington in 1919, an International Commission on Emigration has been constituted, composed of representatives of Governments; workers, and employers_ in equal numbers. Brazil, Canada, Chinu, France. Japan and India have nominated Government representatives; Australia, Germany, the "United States, Poland. Italy and Sweden have nominated workers' delegates; and South Africa, Argentina, Spain, Greece, Czecho-Slovakia, and Switzerland have nominated employMs' delegates. The President of the Commission is Viscount Cave. The International Labour Bureau hits addressed a comprehensive "questionnaire" on the subject of emigration to the forty-two Governments of nations which are memof the League of Nations. The opinion of ench Government is sought concerning all aspects of the problem and the possibility of harmonising diverse wages and of international co-or-dination of legislation. A reply before November 15 is requested. The Commission will meet in the spring of 1921 at Geneva.—Reuter.
