SLIPPER ISLAND WRECK
NAUTICAL COURT'S FINDING.
By Teleeraoh-Press Association Auckland, August 31. The nautical inquiry into the wreok of the auxiliary schooner Te Teko on Slipper Island was concluded to-day. The finding of the Court was as follows: (1) Thaf.i the wreck of the Te Teko was caused by i» strong set in towards the coast; (3) that there was no negligenco, wrongful'act, or default on the part of anybody on the ship; (3) that ijie casualty could not have been avoided under the circumstances; (4) that the ship was fully manned, equipped and seaworthy j (5) that Joseph Gobbie lost his lilfo in connection wnlh the wreck of the Te I'eko. The Court is of opinion that nothing more could have been done under tho oireumstancea . and that no blamo is attachable to anyone in connection with his death.
