AUSTRALIAN BUTTER
NEW CONTRACT WITH BRITISH FOOD MINISTRY. (R«c. August. 29, 5.5 p.m.)
London, August 27. A new contract _ has been completed with the Food Ministry for the purchase of next season's Australian butter. With a view to encouraging increased production the Government has agreed to pay 2745. per civt. f.0.b., for 90-point butter, nnd Is. 6d. per cwt. less for each point below. All other conditions are similar to the June contract. The period of tho purchase is from August 1 to March 81.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
