_, 9 FARMERS OBJECT TO LICENSE. By Teleeraph-Press Association. Taihapß, August 26. A vwy large meeting of the Farmers' Union ond the Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Company, held at Taihape yesterday, unanimously carried the following resolution:—"This meeting of farmers views with alarm the efforts being made to urgo the Government to grant a meat trading license in New Zealand lo Armour and Co,, and would strongly urge the Government te do all within its power to keep combines 6uch as the Meat Trust from operating in Now Zealand."
