BANKRUPT TOBACCONIST
> Yesterday morning a meeting of creditors in ,the estute of Arthur Copeland Hose,,tobacconist, was held, the Official Assignee |(Mr. S. Tansley) presiding. The petition of Bannatyne and Hunter (which set out that Eoso. had deserted his,premises, -and that his ascertained debts amounted to .£BOO, and the assets to about £WX>) was read. The Assignee reported that he had a valuation made, and the value of the stock was placed at .£561, and there was about ,£43 due. to the bankrupt from other sources.
• After some disciision it was decided that the stock and fittings should be 6old by auction, and that tenders be invited fortho goodwill o£> bankrupt's niunufac hiring business.-Brlt was also decided to nave inquiries made as to tho. whereabouts ,pf tho bankrupt. •
