FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for freshening easterlies northwards of New Plymouth and Napier, and variable winds with moderate to strong northcrlica to westerlies ruling elsewhere. TJußettlcd conditions and rain probable soon in the northern, and southernmost districts, arid haze and cloudiness increasing everywhere for a change to follow generally. The barometer has a falling tendency. The barometer has fallen Blightly since yesterday, and moderate and variable breezes havo prevailed with cool, fair to cloudy weather generally. 1). O.
