MOTOR-CYCIE FATALITY
By Telecranh-Prefis Association. Christchurch, August' 3. A motor-oyclo fatality occurred at Halswell, about five miles from Christchurnli, lalo this afternoon, but, the cause is unknown. Hearing a crash, the licensee at the Halswell Hotel stepped out into tho road and found two men lying thereua with a motor-eyclo standing near by. Both wen were earned into the hotel, and one, an elderly man, believed to bo W. W. Gibbs, of Lo Bon's Bay, died within a few minutes. Tho other, who is supposed to bo F. Williams, also of Lo Bon's Bay, was later brought into tlio Christchurch Hospital suffering from » fractured skull.
