CHAIRMAN OPPOSES SOVIET SYSTEM FOR ENGLAND. London, August 1. Mr._ T. Shaw, Labour M.P. for Preston, is presiding at the Second International Socialist Congress nt Geuevn, He opposed tho Soviet system for England, but deprecated interference with Russia, who must work out her own destiny.
A Belgian delegate proposed the transfer of the secretariat of tho congress to London, as in the best interests of tho International—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
