RUMOURED INCREASE IN BUTTER PRICES
A.REASSURING REPORT. By TelejcraDh-Pre.'B Association. Dunedin, July 30. During the past few days rumours havo boon current that the price of 'butter is to be substantially increased, and as a consequence there has been a rush by n largo number of people- to lay in extra supplies. There is, however, excellent authority for believing that there is no immediate prospect of an increase in butter prices. If any advance is ultimately decided on, it is understood that it will not take place till about October.
