Paddon claims tho championship of the world by virtue of his having lodged a challenge to row Felton after the hitter's defeat of Barry on Ihe Thames, anil he cannot hold the dual position of world's and Australian champion. Should Paddon be recognised as the world's champion, the Australian title will revert to Felt.mi, whom Paddon defeated.—Press Assn.
