By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, July 20. A meeting of tho executive of tho West Coast Timber Workers' Union' passed a resolution denying the accuracy of statements in a recent Hokitika Press message regarding the flotation of the Okarito Great Western Timber Company. The resolution went on to declare "that tho secretary of this union had its full support in his representations to tho Minister of' Forestry, and that no member of our executive made any statement to tho contrary as alleged; also that this union pledges itself to see that the timber area in question 'is not exploited by any section of capitalists to the detriment of the people of New Zealand, but tbiit it shall bo used for tho benefit of tho whole community, to whom it rightly belongs."
