The French, after a long fight, routed Emir FeisuTfl forces in the mountains between the Plains of Bokaa and Damascus, capturing nine guns and considerable equipment. FIGHT BETWEEN SEISUL'S PARTISANS AND EXTREMISTS. Cairo, July 25. A ■ dramatio incident preceded the Syrian acceptance of the French ultimatum., The-Syrian Congress at Damascus heatedly discussed the situation, ana rejected the Ministry's conciliatory ad: vice. The Ministry tendered its resignation, but Emir Feisul refused to accept it. A delegation of Extremists called at the palace later, nnd demanded the ' acceptance of the resignation, declaring: "I fthe Ministry does not fall, you will fall." Feisul ordered the instant aTrest of the delegation, and internment in the citadel. A mob attacked the citadel, and released the delegation, whereupon Fei- ' 6ul'a partisans fought the Extremists for two days. The outbreak ended with ,the approach of the French troops.—"The Times/'
