Parr (Minister of 'Education) states that it lias been definitely arranged Hint Dr. Trilby Kin? will i'or tlio next few years go. from the Mental Hospital Department to the Public Health Department to take charge as Director of tho new Department of Child Welfare. Ho will probably bo assisted In- Dr. Blair, at present Dr. Trilby King's assistant at Seacliff, nnd 'by Nurso Patrick, who had extensive experience in connection with Pliinkct Soeiely activities. Tho fichool medical officers and the School Dental Department /will bo incorporated with the new Department of Child Welfare under tho general directorship of Dr. King, who will also ©\e«eo the activities of tho Plunket Society.
