Tho B. and I. steamer Wangarntta, whioh is on her second trip to Now Zealand, arrived at Lyttelton on Wednesday from Newcastle direct. The vessel was oomplcted last July at tho Glasgow yards, and is one of'the finest vessels in tho British-India Line. Sho has a tonnage of 7837 tsross, and is the largest insulated vessel in the service. Her length is 4601't. and Iwam 58ft.. and she can carry 130,000 caroasses of mutton. She is propelled by twin eorews, and is of tho cruiser typo, with a maximum speed of 16 knots and service of twelve. Her crew numbers 136, including 39 cadets.
