PROPOSED CITY COUNCIL TRANSPORT
Sir,—l trust the City Engineer will, when making .his purchase of motorlorries for the city's transport fleet, ba sure and see that the lorries are of British make—English or Scotch for preference. Also that he will standardise on one make of lorry, which will, as he veil knows, 1)3 of great advantage to his repair staff. I am only a worker, but a ratepayer, and I do not wish to 60fl the people's money squandered. Also I would rather my brother workers witliin our Empire should get the benefit of any money tho Empire's most loyal Dominion .has to spend.
