At'Miramar, on Saturday, the teams' race for the Pewter Pot was held over the 5-mile course. -Five teams faced tho starter, Mr. P, Harvey, vice-president. Bell Immediately went to tho front at a fast pace, with Dontico, Smcllie, and 'l'odd close by Theso four went right out on their own, and kept together till tho straight was reached, and a fine finish resulted 'in Bell putting up fastest time, with I>. Tho Olympio. 01 ub held its 5-mile club ohampionship and sealed handicap from Mirainar terminus on Saturday. Twenty«ii runnerß faced the starter. The pack were fairly well bunchcd over the first half-milo, when T. Wilson took the lead, wiyi J. Perston, W. Scatchard, anfl Tracy in close attendance. Passing tlie gasometer, W. Scatchard went to the front, closely followed by Peraton, Wilkinson, Wilson, Tracy, and Cools. On the turn for home, passing Scots College, the positions.were practically unaltered, and whon the straight was reached W. Gcatchardwaa leading J. Perston by a few yards, With Wilkinson handy. The finish resulted in W. Scatchard winning by about flvo yards from J. Perston, with W. Wilkinson, A. Tracy, R l , Cook, and T. Wilson in that order. Tho sealed handicap resulted in T. Wilson gaining first place, A. Workman second, and A. Tracy third.
