LEAGUE FOOTBALL
The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby-League met last evening, Mr. F. C. Evans presiding. . The Canterbury match, originally set down for July 24, was altered to July 31 on account of the Basin Reserve being t'ligaged. Mr J. Goodall was nominated ns referee for the England v. New Zealand gamo on Auirust 13. The New Zealand Council wrote stating that Mr. I. Culpan, advance manospr for the English tour, would bo in VVellington on July 22 and would make, nil arrangements for the game. The fixtures arranged ■ for last Saturday, which were postponed on account of the rain, will bo played next Saturday.
