KING'S THEATRE. Tonight's change of programme at tho King's promises to bo ono of the most enjoyable presented at this 1 theatre. The feature will be the screening of an all-star picture from the "World" Studio, entitled "Three Green Eyes." Five popular screen stars bavo combined theiv'art in this one photoploy, with the result that pioturegoera can enjoy ono of the most'hilarious, fastmoving comedies ever produced. Jum> Elvidge, Evelyn Greeley, Montague Love, Oirlyle Blackwell, and the humorous Johnny Hines play the leading roles, and the plot ning«s on tho jealousy of a suspicious husband and an indiscreet love-letter by his wife in her younger days. In addition to "Three Green Dyes," a "Post Nature" scenic, comedy and tho latest Gazette will be screened. • Tho vocal items will be by the brilliant local soprano. Miss Eileen Driscoll, who . wi,U' sing "Sing, Joyous Bird," and, "Down Vauschall Way." The musical programme by the King's Grand Orchestra will be of the usual high standard, and the entr'acte is "Slavonic Khapso- ' die" (Friedemann). There will be a full orchestral matinee to-morrow. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Considerable interest is being taken.ih tho world-famous case of John lee, "The Man They Could Not Hang," which will bo presented at Everybody's ; Theatre today. .Every newspaper in tho world pub-' listed the interesting facts concerning the failure of tho attempt to hang Lee. Three times they/tried to hang him, and on each, occasion tho Bcaffold failed to act. Lee's sentence was then.commuted to 'penal servitude'for life, and "on th* expiration of 23 years ho'was released. Frederick Haldane, the English actor, orator, will deliver a, lecture while the picture is being screened. The first episode of the mysterious serial masterpiece, entitled "Mystery of 13," will also be shown. . . THE EMPRESS. Something! special is promised In ths star picture which will be screened today at the Empress Theatrv. In .it Sessue Hayakawa is seen in "His Birthright," with his wife, Tsura Aoki, and is responsible for one of the tense emotional roles that are his forte. Marian Sais is the leading lady, and plays with a delicate reserve. Some rare and beautiful scenes are in this intense drama of East. and West. Tho supporting, pictures will be good, and. will include a delightful travel picture,' the fourth epitodo of the thrilling serial, "Liberty," and the usual jGazertes.
