' HEAVY LOSSES OF STOCK, AND WHEAT CROP RUINED. (Rec.July 5, 10 p.m.) . , Sydney, July 5. As a result of the floods the country from Narrabri to Worris Creek is one vast sheet of water. Rescue boats in Borne instances are rowing 150 miles. The water on the Breeza Plains for many miles is 30ft. (?) deep. It is estimated that the stock losses amount to .£50,000.' The greatest disaster, however, will.occur to the wheat farmers, for apparency the who:e of the 200,000 acres planted will bo mined. •The waters are now subsiding quickly/ but it is estimated that it will be two weeks before the railway traffic is fully restored.—Press Assn.'
