Tho board is experiojioing- considerable difficulty - in securing the services of a sufficient number of efficient teachers. For eight vacancies required to be filled . yesterday morning, only two teachers wero available. Teachers for back-blocks schools aro most difficult to obtain. Unless greater inducements aro held out in tho way of higher salaries, sufiioionttoinduco a greater number of suitable entrants into tho profession, the question of stjrffincr a largo number of schools in this district promises to become very acute."
