A FEATHERSTON STREET LEASE.; The' Wellington Returned. Soldiers' Association is anxious to establish a permanent clubhouse in the city, and to that end negotiations were recently entered into with the City Council for the acquisition of the building on the corner of Feathorston and Brandon Streets, of which tha Press Association is. the main tenant. At last night's meeting of the council the . Leasholds Committee recommended ■that the offer of the R.S.A, to take, a 61 years' renewable lease of the building be accepted,, subject to the terms of payment being in accordance with tho committee's reauirementa .. • The i recommendation was adopted.
