RIOTS AT MILAN
FOLLOW ANARCHIST DEMONSTRATION. (Rec. June 24, 8.5 p.m.) Rome, June 23. Malatesta harangued an anarchist demonstration at Milan, supporting the threatened railwaymen's strike, Rioting followed, during Which some shooting occurred, four persons being killed and many wounded, including women and children. Troops arrived in. motor-lor-ries, with machine-guns, and have been ordered to shoot rioters on sight. Four hundred arreets have been made.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
