Robson (Wellington South) secured the Kodak trophy with 25 points, with Mr. J. TV. Johnston (Wellington) as runner-up with 16 points. The judge wns of opinion tha't in both bnen and amateur sections there was considerable improvement on both the technical and artistic' sides, and ■ many of the smaller photographs were most complete in dt6iil and sharpness.' He expressed regret that more entries had not been received in the section for Bchool pupils as he considered the teaching of photography to the youns inculcated, a, : love tor iche beautiful.
