DECONTROL OF CHEESE
(Roc. June 23, 8.15 p.m.) London, June 22. In tho House of Commons, Sir Mitchell Thomson, replying to Sir-Herbert Nield, said that following upon the decision of the .Government to make no further purchase of imported' cheese, this commodity would bo no longer controlled, except balances already contracted for. The Government was notawaro that tho, Co-operativo Wholesale Society intended to negotiate for the purchase of New Zealand cheese. Should any attempt lie made to exploit the consumer, tho Food Controller would not hesitate to use any powers provided by Parliament.—Reuter.
