The Dominion Executive of the Protestant Political Association, which _ is meeting hurt*, passed a resolution uiging upon, the Government the impropriety of remitting or mitigating t'he.sentences imposed upon political military prisoner. Tho following' resolutions were also passed:— "That the attention of the Government bo directed to tho desirability <f demanding that ever)- immigrant landing in New Zealand should tafep the oath of loyalty to the King and Empire." ■; "Tliat legislation bo introduced to provide that, upon proof of disloyalty an immigrant shall forefeit tho right of citizenship and be deported."
