Br Tolejraph—rroas Association. Chrlstchurch, June 20. Tho Coroner to-day held ail inquiry the death'of Hector King (need.24), v hich occurred in ttis Christchurch j^ospuai. Dr. Widdowwn, who mado a postmortem examination of the V, ? * r/li that the proximate of tho right litto linger had been amputated. X lio skin and the muscles were gangrenous. Dentil was due to perioarditis following septic infection to the finger. Ho could find nothing but the septic finger ti> account for decosjed's condition. A verdict was returned in aooordanco with tho medical testimony.
