Peking, June 14. Following on local lighting between tho northern and southern troops in Hunan, general lawlessness reigns. Tho northerners killed an American mission ary. Tliere are indications that the chaotic situation may result in a resumption of war between north and sonth. The Government at Peking is torn asunder by opposing cliques and hesitates to adopt a definite policy.— Eeuter.
