THE DEATH SENTENCE
GUNN TO BE EXECUTED.
Tho death sentence passed upon Denis Gnnn, convicted of the murder of the postmaster at Ponsonby, Auckland, was considered l>y the Executive Council yesterday morning, His Excellency tho Governor-General presiding. It was afterwards announced that His, Excellency, acting on and. with the advico or his 'Ministers, sees no reason why the decision of tho Court should ba inter* fered with.
