Paris, Juno 11. M. Venizelos, Premier of Greece, has arrived. It is stated that ho contemplates conferring with King Alexander with a view to the establishment of a Greek Republic The Allies have warned M. Venizelos Hint the return of Constantino will be viewed with extremo disfavour, and will involve the ledrafting of the Turkish Treaty. An Athens message 6aya that the agitation to restore. Constantin© continues, but is chiefly conducted by dismissed . army officers and political place-hunters. —"The Times." ALEXANDER wiLUACRIFICE THRONE UNLESS ALLOWED TO TAKE WIFE TO ATHENS. (Rec. The Paris correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that King Alexander of Greece announces his willingness to sacrifice the throne unless he is allowed to take hie morganatic wifo back to Athens. M. Venizelos is coming to' Paris to discuss the possibility of establishing a t republic- in Greece. It seems impossible tor King Alexander to take Ins wife back to Athens, aa a secret conclave of army officors threatened most energetic steps unless 6ho left the palace. This was the- cause of her coming to Paris with her eister. There have been many pro-Constantine demonstrations in Greece, and they wore tho real cause of M. It is .understood that he is Asking King Alexander's consent to a republic. King Alexander is unlikely to have imy personal objection. He' prefers the life of' a private citizen, with his beautiful girl wife, to tho cares of a crown. King Alexander's holiday ie dtie to end on Sunday.
