In the Supreme Court to-doy beforo Judge Salmond, Erio Bertie Twidlc, a young man, charged with forgery and uttering n cheque for ,£2O, was admitted to probation for two years, accused to pay costs of the prosecution. -William Rees, a young man, was charged with perjury in giving evidence in the Magistrate's Court in a caso wherein he was charged with being on licensed premises after hours. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty. Clarence Day, similarly charged, was also found not guilty.
