THE MILLION LOAN
Tho Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) stated yesterday that.the sohedule of tho big City Corporation loan was still in tho process of compilation. It might havo fen ready for Thursday evening's meeting, but ne was waiting before compiling the list for soma estimates from the City Enginoer of tho probable cost of some of the works. It was, of course, impossible for anyone to esttmnto tho cost of a work as things were, but they must have an approximate- amount opposite each Item to assist las nmnioipal electors at tho poll.
