On a previous occasion theso two exponents met at Greymouth, when the meeting resulted in a draw, and on all sidoa it -was voted tho fasteßt and mOBt vigorous professional contest ever 60en on tho Coast. Those who Eaiv the two visitors in exhibition bouts recently at the Town Hall quickly npprecinted that both were fast, vigorousboxers, and something out of the ordinary is looked for when they meet here. With such an important contest, and the-inquiries for seats already received, the association decided at last, night's meeting to open tho box plan at their own office, 145 Featherßton Street (just below tho Tost Office), and patrons should note they may book their scats there from Monday at 10 until 5 p.m. each day. The next tournamont .to be promoted will bo tho annual amateur championships, which will extend over two evenings, tho dato of which is not yet definitely fixed, but as. near an possiblo June 30 will b.o tho dato for the first night.
