TRANSACTION IN SHEEP. Further evidence relating to the claim of Dalgety And Co., Ltd., and F. B. Lowes, of Rongomai, against 11. W. Brown, of Wellington, and J. Neich, of Olarcvillc, was heard in the Supreme Court ! yesterday. Plaintiffs sought to rccover from defendants £481 195.. which they alleged was due in respect to a transaction in sheep. The presiding. Judge' (Mr, Justice Salmond) reserved his decision. IN DIVORCE. Mr. Justico Edwards yesterday granted a decrec niei In the divorce case, o[ Charles Fredoricjc Amnion against Daisy Geraldine Mary Amnion and William Eeilty. A jury of twelve had on the previous day found the respondent and the co-respondent guilty of adultery, and had awarded the petitioner £250 damages against tho co-respondent. His Honour ordered tho co-respondent to pay the petitioner's coats, • but resemd tho ouestiou of what scale those costs should he assessed upon. Mr. P. W. Jackon (on behalf of the respondent) applied for costs, but His Honour said he would take timo to consider the matter. For the present no order wis made as to tho oust-ody of a child, aged seven.
