WELLINGTON FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Mr. W. Auld presided over the weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association held last night. A.n application from Kilbirnio Club to withdraw its team from the Fifth A to Fifth B grade was referred to tho Boys' Committee.

A letter was received from the City Council 'stating that "double banking" would be allowed on the city reserves, subject to the custodian's permission. To assist in stimulating the game In Auckland that- association wrote, asking that a fourth class team bo sent from Wellington during the season. It was de oided to hold the matter over for a month as it was too earli; in tho season to come to anything definite.

Owing to tho bad weather the sub-com-mitteo set up to go into tho matter of extending the Association Park had no report to make.

Tho secretary was instructed to write to tho Referees' Association requesting that the results of matches and teams' ?"ns be Bent in each week moro punctually.
