Krassins reported intention to pay in gold for the proposed purchases on behalf of tho Soviet Government of Russia. Tho ground of tho protest is that a. share of tho gold ill the Russian State Bank belongs to Ukraine, which also is partially liable for the Rumanian gold reserve which the Soviet captured. Tho Mission asks for tho tiansmission of its protest to tho Supremo Economic Council—Reutor.
