SIXTH CONTINGENT REUNION

Last evening tho Gth South African Contingent held a reunion at Dnstinß rooms, Cuba Street. Mr. J. K. Martin ivas in the chair. During the Great War closo on 100 of tho 500 on tho roll joined the forces, and of theso 15 had been killed in action. Tho meeting decided to try and get a representative gathering of the contingent on Juno 2, 1921, which would be tho 20th anniverearv of the sailin? of the Gths. Tho meeting also decided to join a movement afoot for the same benefits with regard to land settlement for South African veterans as have been given to thoso who saw service in the Great War. Numerous toasts were honoured.
