A Press Association message from Lyttelton states that the Maori arrived there at 3 p.m. yesterday from Wellington. She battled against a tierce southerly galo right from Wellington Heads, and was badly buffeted by very heavy seas. She was abreast Cape Campbell ct 12.30 a.m. and Kaikoura. at 6 a.m. The messago adds that a strong southerly gale continued on.
