PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE
Mosgra. Abraham and Williams, in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., report:— "Ono of the most successful and largest sales of -pedigree Jersey cattle ever hold in the Dominion was that of the ■ estate of the lato R. D. Harkness, held at Te Hpro on Thursday. There was a largo attendance of breeders from all parts of tho North Island, and the prices for cows went to JCO guineas (for the imported cow Onba Gipsy), and for bulls up to 161 guineas for a calf, Waimana Goneral. A few of the prices realised arc as follow:— Bulls— Majestic Duke, 104 guineas; Vandal, 73 guineas; Waimana, General, 161 guineas; Waimana Golden Stream, 61 guineas, and 10 others, at prices from 25 to 63 guineas. Cows—Ouba Gipsy, 300 guineas; Unique, 160 guineas; Utility, 121 guineas; Mulberry, 107 ruineas; Noble Girl, 170 guineas: Desert Gold, 118 guineas; Floral. 150 guineas; Nobula. 131 guineas; Curly Locke, 154 guineas; Lady General, 177 guineas; Uni, 170 guineas; fioc-ulein Yulpes Duchess, 105 guineas; Waimana, 102 guineas; Golden Lockß. 126 guineas, and 16 others 54 guineas. Yoarling Heifers.—Alicante, 140 guineas; Gipfiy Lass, 125 guineas; Eomola, 67 guineas; Raspberry, 55 guineas; Crescent Moon. 75 guineas, and.others averaging 64 i guineas. Heifer Oalves.—Ten, averaging 63 guineas.
