At yesterday's meeting of tho Welling ton College Board of Governors sketch' plans of tine now girls' eollego were s'.iiimittod. Tho building, which, is to bo erected on a portion of the col.ego reserve between the Town Belt and tho present Boys' College, wilt take i'.i tiiß site of the observatory. Accommodation will bo provided in tiho building for 050 girls, and it will he erected in two sections. Tho first section to be erected will accommodate 350 girls. The plans aro to he submitted to tho Education Department for approval, and a commencement will be made with the erection or the .building as soon as tho necessary grant is authorised by t|ho Government.
