MacShane, who has been secretary of the'Jfew Zenlnnd Golf Association tor some years past, has resigned t)ie position, and at the last meeting ot the council members expressed their h!L-)l appreciation ot Mr. MacShane's services to the association. Mr. G. O. Sutton has been appointed secretary of the asuutiatlon.
