Cattle were, in poor demand, but sheep showed a alight improvement on recent sales. At Patmerston North, on Thursday, we held our weekly stock sale. There waa a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which was submitted to a fair attendance of buyers. We quote:—Fat ewes, to 335.; lambs, to 14s. 6d.; poor-conditia"ed breeding owefl, 13s. M.; springing iv;?-'™. £10 10s.; bulif. £6. At. Feilding, on Friday, our weekly stnn: sale was held. We had a heavy yardinc of both sheep and cattle. The demand for sheop was fair, but the demand for cattle was noor.
