GAIN OF 9734 IN QUARTER INCREASE IN BIRTH RATE An increase of 9731 in the European population of the Dominio-i during tho quarter ended March 31 is shown by tafl Government Statistician's records. The birthrate for the quarter is equal to an annual Tate oi 25.85 per 1000 of mean primlation, as compared with a rate of only 21.55 for the year 1919.
