PREMIERS' CONFERENCE
IMMIGRATION PROPOSALS. Melbourne, May 25. The Premiers' Conference adopted immigration proposals providing for Commonwealth control of all overseas organisation, transport 'and financial arrangements. Preference will bo given to ex-service men. The States will bo responsible for the immigrants after arrival.—Press Assn.
