The Courthouse was packed this" morning with .an expectant crowd, in anticipation of tho charge of attempted murde- being heard against C. E. Maekay, imt curiosity was left unsatisfied. Tho medical men refused to allow CiTsswell (tin injured mail) to make a statement, although he is making satisfactory progress, nnd there is every reason to believe that his recovery is' certain. The doctors would not. consent to any risk being taken. Mackay waa therefore further remanded till Thursday.
