PRICED INVESTIGATION TRIBUNAL
« MASTERTON SITTINGS ENDED. By Telegraph-Special Correspondent. Masterton, May 23. The Trices Investigation Tribunal concluded its sitting in Masterton on Saturday. The tribunal heard complaints of alleged overcharging, 6omo of which are sufficiently serious to warrant investigation later. Business people were present to state their side of the case. Important evidence was heard in reference to the housing question, both sale prices and rents coming up for criticism. The result of this section of tho inquiiy showed that tho housing question in Masterton is as acute as in any other part, and the tribunal will report to the Government with a view to having fresh legislation introduced.

Parr, Minister of Education. lias received from the Prince of Wales, in his own handwriting, a feeling farewell to the young people who were so enthusiastic in giving him a wolcomo to the Dominion. H.M.S. Eenown left Lyttelton at C.30 this morning. There was no demonstration, and only a few people were present.
