COURT-MARTIALLED OFFICERS ' ACQUITTED. Paris, May 18. . The court-martial has nsquitted all those accused in connection with the surrender of Maubeuge.—Aus.-N.Z, Cablo Assn. [General Fournier and' other officers were court-martialled for uunocessarily surrendering the fortress of Maubcugo in September, 1911. General Pan gave evidence that the Minister of War was indignant at Fournior's demands.for assistance, and ordered Pau to tako command and to lmvo Fournier 6hot. Genoral Pau inspected tho fortress and agreed with Fournier regarding its defcctivo dcfouces, which could not havo withstood a siogo for ten days.
