MORE LABOUR SUPPORT FOR JOCKEYS

At o meeting of the Wellington Labour Representation Committee, the following resolution was carried uuanimousl.': "That this meeting strongly and unitedly supports tho Jockeys' Association in its struggle against the cruel and mean form of victimisation to which its member-- are at present being jected, and urges all the affiliated organisations to do their utmost to assist tho transport workers in thoir effort to obtain justice for tho jockoys, and not to relax their efforts until the association is recognised by tho Earing Conference ami its claims agreed to." The meeting also congratulated the seamen and waterside workers on refusing to convey the racehorses which have been declared "black," and trusted that all other workers would support them by similar action.
